You’ve tried everything you can think of to feel better, but nothing has worked.

ART is incredible strategy that can quickly and efficiently help people heal from trauma that may have been wrecking their lives for years. You can experience incredible changes in as little as one session.

One of the best things about ART is that it doesn’t require you to verbally share the details of your trauma. You are able to talk as little or as much as you want, but your brain will do the work without me knowing your full story. I help you change the way the memory is stored so that you can stop having nightmares, flashbacks, negative body sensations, and emotions and move forward in peace, leaving the past in the past where it belongs.

Accelerated REsolution therapy (ART) is Right for you if you’re still …

Having difficulty regulating your emotions and navigating through many triggers.

Struggling in multiple areas of your life: at home, at work or school, in relationships.

Having nightmares and disruptions to your sleep or flashbacks during the day.

ART can help you get a handle on your emotions and feel more peace once memories are reprocessed and stored correctly in your brain.

  • I am going to be honest, we had to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) as part of our training. I am nervous about what to do write on the website, and I don’t want to get sidetracked trying to translate the paperwork to say enough to help you understand it while not getting sued.

If you type in “how does accelerated resolution therapy work” to Chat GPT you can get a really good explanation. Or we can talk about it at your first session.

  • In an ART session, you'll be guided through a gentle but structured process designed to help you resolve distressing experiences without having to talk through every detail. Most people leave ART sessions feeling lighter, calmer, and surprised by how much changed in such a short time. You stay in control throughout, and many clients notice meaningful relief in just 1 to 3 sessions.

  • First and foremost, ART helps your brain do what it was built to do: heal.

ART supports your system in processing unhealed memories so they no longer feel so raw, charged, or defining. Changing the way the memory is stored helps you relate to it differently—so it no longer hijacks the present.

Here are some additional ways ART can help:

    • Reduce emotional reactivity to things that used to trigger panic, shame, or shutdown

    • Heal trauma from abuse, accidents, losses, or other painful events

    • Unhook from old beliefs like “I’m not enough,” “I’m unsafe,” or “It was my fault”

    • Feel more regulated, less stuck in survival mode, and more at home in your body

    • Reclaim your voice, boundaries, and sense of choice in relationships

    • Move forward, not because you’ve “let it go,” but because it finally feels resolved

Some changes may be subtle at first—maybe you sleep better, feel a little lighter, or respond differently to something that used to send you spiraling. Or they can be big. Either way, your system is moving toward integration, relief, and resilience.

ART helps you stop surviving on high alert and start living with more freedom, clarity, and ease.

At the end of the day, I want you to know:

There is healing and freedom that comes from the work we do. You have the opportunity to let go and move forward to live life differently. I have witnessed my clients experience incredible changes. Years of turmoil, medications, and mental health diagnoses are no longer part of their story. Let’s make that your story, too.

Is ART right for you?

ART is a good fit for you if you…

  • You feel stuck in patterns or reactions that don’t make sense but won’t go away.

  • You’ve had painful or overwhelming experiences that still feel “close,” even if they happened years ago.

  • Certain memories, images, or sensations keep looping, no matter how much insight or talking you’ve done.

  • You want healing that goes deeper than just managing symptoms—you’re ready for resolution, not just coping.

  • You’ve tried other therapy approaches and felt like they helped some, but didn’t quite get to the root.

  • You’re curious, open, and willing to try something different—especially if it might bring real relief.

FAQs for ART

  • No.

ART doesn't require you to go into the full story. You just need to bring the memory into awareness enough for your brain to begin reprocessing it. You stay in control of how much you share. It’s your preference. The great part-your brain still does the incredible work even if you choose not to talk about parts of it.

  • During the session, yes. There will be a portion of the session in which you are asked to remember the difficult thing you are wanting to work on. That sucks. But let’s be real, your brain does this all the time without your permission. The memory is always there subconsciously, sometimes more obtrusively.

But this is only a portion of the session. Then your thoughts, feelings, and body sensations will shift to being more positive. You will end the session with a level of distress close to 0 (on a scale of 0-10). It is incredible.

  • It depends. If you are working on a specific issue that isn’t related to complex trauma, one session can be enough. An example of this would be if you were in a car accident and are scared to drive on the highway now. You should be fine and no longer have this problem after one session.

If you are working on complex trauma (a bunch of issues from your past) it could take multiple sessions.

It is like peeling back the layers of an onion, and the current session can open the door to reveal the next thing to work on.

We'll move at a pace that feels right for your system and not rush to meet a timeline.

  • Trauma is a big part of it, but ART can also help with anxiety, grief, phobias, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and more. If something keeps coming up that feels out of proportion or stuck in a loop, ART can help.

  • You don’t need a big, dramatic event for ART to be helpful. Sometimes the moments that shape us most are quiet, ongoing, or hard to name. If it’s impacting you now, it matters—and it’s worth healing.

  • I’ve got you.

You don’t need to come in with a plan (that’s actually using a different part of your brain than the area we will be working in). I have techniques to help support you in selecting memories and finding the connections to the past.
